Jetski Tours

Jetski tours are one of the fastest ways to explore Koh Samui’s coastline and nearby bays. You’ll usually ride in a small group, follow a guide, and stop at a few points along the route depending on sea conditions that day.

These trips are weather-dependent. If waves are too high or conditions aren’t safe, operators may cancel at short notice. It’s annoying, but it’s the right call—open water can change quickly.

Minimum age: The driver must be at least 18 years old. Passengers may be allowed depending on the operator and sea conditions.

Sea conditions decide the route: Guides may shorten, change, or skip stops if the water is rough.

Listen to the briefing: You’ll receive basic handling rules, spacing guidelines, and instructions on what to do if you fall off.

Safety first: If waves are too high, trips can be cancelled at short notice. It’s a good idea to plan a backup activity.

• Ride time varies by route and conditions (some tours include stops, others are mostly riding).
• You’ll follow a guide and keep distance between jetskis—this isn’t “free riding.”
• It’s physical if the sea is choppy. If you have back/neck issues, choose a calmer day or skip it.
• Timing matters: calmer seas often happen earlier in the day, but it depends on the season.

• Swimwear + towel (you will get wet).
• Sunscreen and sunglasses strap if you wear them.
• Dry bag / waterproof phone pouch if you plan to bring valuables.
• Change of clothes for the ride back to your hotel.
